May Day
The first day of May is celebrated in many countries as International Workers' Day. In England the first of May is a bank holiday and involves many rites and traditions. Some of the significant traditions are the May pole, morris dancing and crowning a May Queen.
Morris dancing is a form of English folk dance and usually danced by groups of men with bells, waving their handkerchiefs.
